Executive Board

  • Brendon Howell, President

    Profile Head Shot Brendon HowellBrendon Howell is an Indianapolis native and graduate from the IU Kelley School of Business. Shortly after becoming a member of the NABA Indianapolis Chapter, Brendon stepped up to lead the Indy chapter as Chapter President after ZeNai Brooks, the previous President, went on to become Vice President of the Central Region. Brendon hopes to continue to grow the Indianapolis chapter and bring new opportunities to the chapter members and students in the surrounding areas.

    Professionally, Brendon has one year of Investment Accounting experience having previously worked for the CNO Financial Group in Carmel, IN and has been working for the Indianapolis PwC office since January 2015 in the audit practice. Actively involved in the firm's diversity recruiting and community service efforts Brendon has been helping connect with our minority students and candidates. Serving on the Indianapolis Public Library's African American History Committee Advisory Board, Brendon has taken a personal interest and passion in the history and literacy of our African American community. Coupled with PwC's diversity initiatives, Brendon hopes to enhance the Financial Literacy of the African American community and encourage financial empowerment and education.

  • Aurmaudra Bradley, Vice President

    Profile Head Shot Aurmaudra BradleyAurmaudra is a native of Indianapolis, IN and a graduate of the Indianapolis Public Schools System. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Indiana State University in 2004 and completed her Masters of Science in Taxation at IUPUI in 2015. She has worked in a variety of audit positions, both internal and external and enjoys the challenge of understanding and improving processes and procedures.

    Aurmaudra is the State Lead Ambassador for Indiana for the American Cancer Society's Cancer Action Network, a cause she became passionate about after losing her mother to Lung Cancer in 2009. When she's not righting the wrongs of bad internal controls or otherwise saving the world; she enjoys reading, movies, and being an overall social butterfly.

  • Jason Cunningham, Director of Student Memberships

    Profile Head Shot Jason CunninghamJason Cunningham is originally from the Cleveland, OH area, and has served as the Director of Member Services for the Indianapolis chapter since the fall of 2015. The majority of Jason’s career has been in the financial service industry. After spending more than four years in insurance claims audit and more than two years in securities trading, Jason is now approaching one year in internal audit with Brown & Brown Insurance, focusing on financial and IT audits.

    Jason is also a volunteer recruiter for Oberlin College and serves on several committees at First Trinity Lutheran Church.

  • Ron Perkins, Director of Professional Memberships

    Profile Head Shot Ron PerkinsRon obtained his Masters of Science in Accountancy as of July 2015 from Ball State University. Currently, Ron is pursuing his CPA licensure and provides staff accountant services for London Witte Group, LLC (LWG) that range from auditing non-issuer clients, including water authorities and electric cooperatives, alongside of providing tax services to individuals and business clients. Furthermore, Ron is very adamant about giving back, mentoring, and community service. He is an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. where he does a range of community vested projects and events.

    Additionally, he is a part of organizing and helping manage the Beautillion Militaire Program sponsored by Jack and Jill and the 100 Black Men Association. The program is setup to help prepare high-school juniors and seniors prepare in their transition of opportunities post high school via mentoring and other phenomenal and engaging activities. Ron enjoys reading, writing, dancing, sprinting, weight training, cycling, golfing, bowling, rock climbing, and playing pool in his leisure time.

  • Terrell Franklin, Treasurer

    Profile Head Shot Terrell FranklinTerrell Franklin is originally from Gary, IN. He graduated from the University of Indianapolis in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and a Minor in Information Systems. He has gained majority of his tax experienced working in large accounting firms with a focus on manufacturing and commercial real estate.

    Terrell joined NABA in 2016 and was appointed Treasurer in January 2017. He serves as an Experienced Tax Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Terrell has spent 17 years running track competitively and enjoys coaching.

  • E. ZeNai Brooks, Immediate Past President and Central Region Vice President

    Profile Head Shot ZeNai BrooksZeNai Brooks is an Indianapolis Native and has been a member of NABA for over 10 years, volunteering at the student, professional and regional levels. ZeNai served as the Indianapolis president for 3 years and under her leadership, the Indianapolis chapter revived the ACAP program raising over ,000 in sponsorship and hosting 25 students in her final year of presidency. ZeNai was appointed as the Central Region Vice President in July 2016 where her main responsibility is the regional Student Conference. ZeNai's additional volunteer activities include: Steward Speakers Treasurer, Warren Central Finance Academy Council, Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS) Diversity Council, New Liberty M.B. Church First Lady and Financial Secretary.

    Professionally, ZeNai has over three years of auditing experience with public accounting firm Ernst and Young, LLP, and three years of SEC financial reporting experience with Interactive Intelligence.

    She currently works with Greenwalt CPAs as the Nof-for-profit audit senior. ZeNai will obtain her CPA license in October 2016.

  • Herschel Frierson, National Director

    Herschel Frierson-Immediate Past President PicHerschel is a 15+ year NABA member who has stepped up over the years in providing leadership at the local level by serving as president of the Indianapolis Chapter. As Chapter president, the local chapter provided numerous CPE opportunities, volunteerism through VITA, Circle City Pageant, Indianapolis Black Expo, Center for Leadership Development and Academy of Finance. The Indianapolis chapter of NABA has earned a great reputation in the community while maintaining a healthy financial cash flow for a chapter of its size. As a dedicated NABA member, Herschel was able to provide leadership for over 10 years at various committee levels for the Central Region Student Conference including Publication, Student Registration and Interviewing.

    For the 2011 Student Conference, Herschel was a part of the leadership team that implanted a new Student Conference Registration software system. Dedication for the region did not stop at the student conference as Herschel served as the Central Region Secretary and also served at the National level as the Chair for the Ethics Committee. Herschel was elected as the NABA Central Region President in 2012.
